I try not to become too stressed whenever the opposing team scores first. Especially if they score early in the first half. The Reds have been notorious for second-half and last-minute goals this season. The match against Fulham was no different. They scored a goal in the 17th minute. 2026 started with a bang and a whimper. Okay, I am being hyperbolic, but I am sincere in the sentiment. The 0 - 0 draw with Leeds United was disappointing, to say the least, but I want to first acknowledge the "bang" of the day. Allison Becker hit a milestone Thursday afternoon. With the goalless draw, Becker delivered his 100th clean sheet for Liverpool, making him the 5th goalkeeper to reach such a landmark. It has been a while since the blog has been updated. Blame the holidays! Salah is currently with the Egypt team in AFCON. I know he gets grief for playing with them--the nay-sayers are quick to say he hasn't been able to lead Egypt to a championship and is wasting his talent (or something along those lines). I don't know if that comes from frustration because he isn't playing with Liverpool right now, or if it is a slight about his recent performances with LFC. Then there's
