Salah and AFCON
It has been a while since the blog has been updated. Blame the holidays! Salah is currently with the Egypt team in AFCON. I know he gets grief for playing with them--the nay-sayers are quick to say he hasn't been able to lead Egypt to a championship and is wasting his talent (or something along those lines). After reading about all the assists and goals the Reds scored for their national teams over the past few days, I was both encouraged and concerned about today's match against ManU. Either the team would take the pitch and be on fire, or they would show signs of fatigue...or at least look as though that was a reason if they played less than stellar.
